As most of ya'll know, I am at school at Texas A&M and have found that I have fully outgrown my old show horse, Max. Unfortunately I have no use for him at school, and would like to find a good home for him. He is a been there, done that kind of horse. While you may remember him as a horse who would consistently win blue and red ribbons in English Equitation, Western Performance, and speed events, Max is now 21 and past heavy riding. He would be perfect as a companion horse or trail horse. Due to a recent severe choke incident, he is on a strict diet of NO hay, alfalfa or stemmed forage. We feed a complete feed (Purina Equine Senior) with free access to grass, with an occasional carrot or apple. He is healthy, looks great, recently shod, and has no ongoing health or lameness issues. We are looking for someone, preferably a new 4H rider, to give him a home to enjoy. He can be ridden on the trail and in parades. If you, or anyone you know is looking for a horse like Max, please let my family know!
